2088 intelligent pressure transmitter is used for liquid and gas measurement, humidity limit 0-100% relative humidity. Performance specifications (zero reference calibration range, reference conditions, silicone oil filled, 316L stainless steel isolation diaphragm)

2088 intelligent pressure transmitter

1.1. Process seal

The design of the 2088 ensures that the transmitter will operate safely even if the sensor diaphragm is damaged or malfunctioning. The electronic circuit side (chamber) has two levels of sealing and process isolation, and the third stage sealing is isolated from the field wiring terminals and the conduit inlet. The design of the process seal and its location allow the transmitter housing to withstand pressure and prevent process impurities from entering through the conduit from the terminal side.

1.2. Double chamber structure housing

The 2088 inherits the design tradition of the TSK51 series and is designed for a two-chamber enclosure. The dual-chamber housing isolates the electronics from the external environment, preventing damage to the transmitter due to environmental humidity or conduit condensation. Conduit seals are generally not required. In addition, the double-chamber structure ensures that the terminals and conduits are isolated from the process even when the sensor head is completely damaged.

1.3. Sensor diaphragm

The isolating diaphragm transmits pressure to the silicon piezoresistive pressure sensor, which is filled with silicone oil. For gauge pressure transmitters, the sensor's reference pressure is atmospheric; for absolute pressure transmitters, the sensor's reference pressure is a sealed vacuum reference source.

The process pressure is applied to the sensing diaphragm of the sensor, causing a slight deformation of the diaphragm, which applies a stress to the Wheatstone bridge inside the sensor, causing strain resistance changes in the Wheatstone bridge, and the resistance change is measured. And converted to a 4~20mA DC current change is output.

1.4. Electronic circuit board module

The electronic circuit uses ASIC (Application Specific Integrated Circuit) and surface package technology. After receiving the temperature-compensated resistance change signal of the sensor head, the electronic board corrects and linearizes the signal to output a DC current signal.
