Liquid level transmitter

The liquid level transmitter is actually the application of pressure transmitter in liquid level measurement. Therefore, according to the measurement method, installation method and structure, it is later called liquid level transmitter, which belongs to the category of liquid level meter. At present, the liquid level transmitter is widely used in the input type liquid level transmitter and the capacitive liquid level transmitter, and the single and double flange type liquid level transmitter.1: Basic principle of input level transmitter.
The input type liquid level transmitter is based on the principle that the measured hydrostatic pressure is proportional to the height of the liquid, and the static pressure is converted into an electrical signal by the piezoresistive effect of the diffusion silicon or ceramic sensitive element. After temperature compensation and linear correction, it is converted into a 4-20mADC standard current signal output.The input type sensor can float perfectly on the surface of the liquid to be tested by its own structure, directly measure the liquid level height, and at the same time, the detected liquid related data is converted into an electric signal by a silicon pressure resistance method and sent to the relevant collection. On the equipment, the whole process is convenient and fast, and the input type makes it unnecessary to have any manual work on the inside of the liquid, which greatly saves time and increases efficiency.The principle is basically the same as the input type, except that the core component of the capacitive level gauge adopts advanced RF capacitance detection circuit and is converted into a standard electrical signal (generally 4~20 mA) through 16-bit single-chip microcomputer through precise temperature compensation and linear correction. Optional HART, CANBUS, 485 communication protocol for system configuration. The full range of transmitters are self-calibrating, allowing users to automatically calibrate “zero” and “range” with two buttons to suit different requirements in complex locations. Since the principle of the capacitive liquid level transmitter and the input type liquid level transmitter are basically the same, the application is also extensive. But there are some differences between the two. For a simple example, for example, the medium is a benzene compound. If the medium is easy to crystallize, then a capacitive level transmitter is used at this time.
Of course, the liquid level transmitter has the above two types, as well as the flange type liquid level transmitter (with double flange and single flange). Because we mentioned above, the liquid level transmitter is actually a pressure transmitter. The application of liquid level measurement, so sometimes the user needs to measure the liquid level, but it can also be called a double flange differential pressure transmitter.
All of the above are classified by the principle of pressure measuring sensors, and other liquid level transmitters are closer to the level gauges, such as float type liquid level transmitter, float level transmitter, magnetic Telescopic level gauge, magnetic flap level gauge, etc.
The float type liquid level transmitter is composed of a magnetic float ball, a measuring pipe, a signal unit, an electronic unit, and a junction box mounting member. Generally, the magnetic float has a specific gravity of less than 0.5 and can float above the liquid surface and move up and down along the measuring catheter. The measuring tube is equipped with a measuring element, which can convert the measured liquid level signal into a resistance signal proportional to the liquid level change under the action of external magnetic field, and convert the electronic unit into 4-20 mA or other standard signal output.
The float type liquid level transmitter converts the magnetic float to a float, which is designed according to the Archimedes buoyancy principle. The float type liquid level transmitter uses a small metal film strain sensing technology to measure the liquid level, boundary or density of the liquid. It can be used for routine setup work by pressing the live button during work.
The magnetostrictive level gauge consists of three main parts. The outer tube part is a product material that is resistant to corrosion and resistant to industrial harsh environments. The heart of the transmitter is the most inner waveguide, which is made up of certain magnetostrictive materials. The electronic part of the transmitter produces a low current interrogation pulse that simultaneously produces a magnetic field that propagates down the waveguide. When the magnetic field intersects with the magnetic field generated by the permanent magnets in the float on the waveguide, a strain pulse, or waveguide distortion, is generated. The strain pulse is returned along the waveguide and received by the electronics unit. By accurately measuring the time interval between the interrogation pulse and the return pulse, a high-precision, highly reproducible liquid level value can be obtained.
The magnetic flap level gauge can be used for medium level detection of various towers, tanks, tanks, spherical vessels and boilers. This series of level gauges can be highly sealed, leak proof and suitable for high temperature, high pressure and corrosion resistant applications. It compensates for the defects such as poor definition and easy cracking of the glass plate (tube) level gauge, and the whole process measurement has no blind zone, and the display is clear and the measurement range is large. The parts of the magnetic flap level gauge are made of 1Cr18Ni9Ti, 316L, OCr18Ni9Ti, 1Cr18Ni9Ti-lined PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene), PVC, PP and other imported components, which have excellent reliability and corrosion resistance.
